Carriers often price by both weight and dimensions, so empty space in a box can cost money, especially on expedited shipments. A box taller than it needs to be means paying to ship air and paying again for the filler.
The fix was a tool that resizes the boxes you already stock: measure, score, cut, and fold, in one hand. It worked at our own packing bench, so we built it for everyone else's.
